This is the first hair oil I have tried and have tested it for months after receiving this in the Latest in Beauty beauty box. Unfortunately I didn’t see the results I had hoped for especially reading the reviews out there. I use one pump and apply it to the bottom half of my towel dried hair then blow dry. It did leave my hair not feeling greasy and more manageable however it didn’t leave the soft feeling I had hoped for. The oil has a slight gel consistency as it does contain silicons.
I’m quite surprised that this contains 15 different oils rather than argan oil itself. It contains organic argan oil, orange fruit extract, clove oil, geranium oil, lemon peel oil, patchouli oil, cinnamon leaf oil, rosewood oil, wild mint oil, mandarin peel oil, vanilla fruit extract, spearmint oil, kukui seed oil, moringa seed oil, sacha inchi seed oil. Talk about variety! All natural too.
I have mixed thoughts about the scent. It is exotic; I would describe it as spicy wood as it does contain all of those oils. I can sniff out some of the notes such as the cinnamon and wild mint. The scent isn’t something to my liking but it has grown a bit as I have been using it for months. It’s great that this has a pump as you can control the amount of product you want. I must say, this is probably the prettiest bottle I own. I think it’ll work best if your hair is a tad dry and not colour damaged. It also says it’ll give better results when used in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner in the series. Sadly, I wouldn’t purchase it again.
