INSTAGRAM MADE ME DO IT
I thought it would be good to dedicate this one to Instagram to show how much of an influence it really is. I was a total sucker with the below trends. Some I regret and some I’m happy about.
NEVER AGAIN. You can read my long review here. It looks like it’s died down but not 100%. This needs to be completely removed from existence. Seriously.
Following on from the above, another product I’m never touching again. Seeing peoples’ before and afters on a company’s Instagram page is enough to convince you isn’t it? Purchased one and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. It may have worked for others but for me, nada.
Everyone posing with their coffee scrub, covered themselves in it, thanks to Frank. That was the brand to kick off the craze. With the idea of it being messy and it’s saucy slogans, it was a hit. It was interesting to read about the benefits of coffee. I’m yet to see those benefits, then again I don’t use it as much as I should, but the exfoliation is good.
I think it’s beautiful to look at when done correctly. The majority of the looks on Instagram aren’t really wearable. I always do a slightly darker outer to a lighter inner look to make it wearable for the day or night, and it gives the lips more depth. It’s different and I like different.
Avocado on toast
Addicted. I’m so grateful this had appeared in my life. It was the first time I had tried avocado and I’ve never looked back since. Have I mentioned that I was addicted, like so addicted? You will always find avocados in my fridge.
