STEP 1. PREPARE
This is another product that is aimed at men but hey, why not try it? I don’t think of this as a men’s scrub, just as an exfoliating product. This is a creamy product containing ground walnut shells, and no microbeads, to buff away the dead skin and to remove the impurities. It also contains almond oil and cocoa butter for hydration.
This did clean away the grease and dead skin leaving it prepped, ready for the serum and moisturiser. It cleaned it a little too well though, leaving it feeling a bit tight. I was surprised at how well this controlled the oils throughout the day. I did get the odd shine here and there but not as much as I usually do. Unfortunately, it did break out with painful spots on my chin and forehead the next day.
I’m not too fond of the scent and it did linger after I’ve applied the rest of my skincare products. It has the typical men’s aftershave scent. It is a great product but is too harsh for me in the end. It’s definitely one for the men as their skin is different to women.
Have you tried any men’s facial scrubs?
