Sephora has been on my mind throughout the whole trip. But of course, there wasn’t a store in Germany but there was a brand called Artdeco I wanted to try out. I did all of my brand item research online and got a list of items to purchase. It was hard to find a drugstore whilst in Berlin as I wasn’t familiar but I was able to pick up a couple of things from the duty free at the airport before heading to Paris. I was disappointed that they didn’t stock the whole range as I really wanted to get my hands on the camouflage cream concealer. I ended up picking the following:
I believe you are able to pick this brand up in Debenhams online. Not sure if there are any branches that sells this. Let me know if there are! When I saw the prices of these in Debenhams, my jaw dropped but am not surprised due to the tax etc. Artdeco is a German brand and it definitely will be cheaper in Germany.
Now Paris, which means SEPHORA! I had visited the biggest one on Av. des Champs-Élysées and had spent probably a good hour maybe walking up and down the store. The security guard and makeup consultants must have been confused after seeing me too many times. My mum waited outside whilst my sister and I was deciding what to buy and finding what shades we are etc. I did pick up Sephora’s collection and a few others which were available in the UK but it was cheaper there due to the weak exchange rate. Even MAC is cheaper. I did pick up a new MAC Prolongwear Concealer (not pictured) as I was running out during my visit. Sephora in France isn’t the same as the one in the US as there wasn’t much of the other US brands unfortunately.
Sephora Retractable Brow Pencil – Waterproof in Auburn; Sephora Angled Liner Brush #90;
Sephora Color Lip Last in #08 Pink-Spiration;
Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water; My sister got one herself, tried it and said it was the best remover she’s tried! I can’t wait to test it and review it myself.
These next two products I had picked up once I had arrived back in the UK. I was travelling on the Eurostar and had arrived at London St. Pancras International station and they did have a MAC store. It was a clever tactic of me to carry my gift cards as I had spent the remaining value and finally got my hands on Soar and Brave. The adventure is now over.
Do any of these tickle your fancy?
