I did a post back in October about trends I never got into and thought, there wasn’t going to be anymore. But of course, I did think of more as I shopped, looked at outfits, time passing by etc. Just a note, because I didn’t follow a trend, doesn’t mean I dislike it or dislike anyone who wears them.
Creepers – I actually find them creepy, no matter how they try to make it look feminine or cute. It’s something about it I don’t find appealing, even in wedge form.
Jeffrey Campbell Lita – Those early blogging days, these can be seen everywhere, where ever you look, it’s in your face. I have a few Jeffrey Campbell shoes myself but have never seemed to jump on the bandwagon for these. Student life did make it hard for me at the time. Thinking about it, I wouldn’t purchase a pair now.
Tartan – I think it’s the choice of colours that are used and not the criss cross design that made me stay away. It’s also one of those things that you know won’t suit you even if you don’t try it on.
Birkenstocks – Dad sandals as I like to call them. That’s it.
Caviar Manicure – I’m more scared of the beads coming off whilst I eat, with a possibility of choking. It does look pretty depending on the colour but it’s also a choking hazard at the same time.
Flower Crown – I must admit, I do own one but that was only for a collaborative post. It was from Primark, cheap and it didn’t break the bank. I haven’t worn it out in public as it doesn’t really suit my own style. It’s just gathering dust somewhere.
There will definitely be more of this series when I think of more.
Are there any trends you didn’t follow?
