Since GOSH had discontinued the art liner eyeliners, I had to find a replacement quick. This was the first eyeliner I purchased after reading that it was as good before I bought the MAC liquidlast. I had purchased this online since the the store the Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush was sold out. A sold out product would mean that this product is good doesn’t it? This is probably my third gel eyeliner I’ve tried and I’m still not swayed to them. This would be my last gel eyeliner purchase.
First impression was the amount of product you get for £10. It is a lot. You definitely get your money’s worth. The gel was soft and you only need a small amount on the brush per eye, leaving the blackest black shade, drying matte. The drying time was a bit slow but the results looked great! There is a variety of shades for you to experiment with. From your darks to the brights.
I have used this when I had flat viewings. Let’s just say, I wasn’t all that impressed after 3 hours. This smudged horrendously especially on the lower lash line and definitely was a panda. I had to face the estate agent to view the flat and more estate agents to sign a contract with this look. I wouldn’t mind if they laughed at me when I left. I was having a bad day then and didn’t clean up since I wanted to go home as soon as possible. It would still smudge even if I had set it with a black eyeshadow. Disappointed.
I wouldn’t repurchase this unfortunately. I did find that post and package was expensive (£5) especially since this was my only purchase online. I still need to try Inglot’s eyeshadows.
Have you tried this brand before?
