TRAVEL SIZED SET
I did forget to pack my brushes for America last year which meant I had to purchase some new brushes. I had purchased these from the Boots in Manchester Airport, Terminal 2. Originally £9.99, they were in the sale section for £2.00. Yes you’ve read it right, two freaking pounds. I didn’t hesitate one bit plus, it was Real Techniques. You can’t go wrong with them.
This mini brush trio contains a face, foundation and eye shader brush in mini form. It’s got your whole face covered however I find the foundation brush too small to use for a full face. It’s better as a concealer brush or a foundation touch up on the go. I like to use face brush to set the under eye concealer and naturally contour the cheeks as well as applying blusher too. It is small enough to fit on the hollows of the cheeks. I tend to use the eye shader brush to blend out the eyeshadow as I like to use my fingers to apply instead. It’s definitely not recommend for a full face otherwise you’re going to be sat there working on your foundation for a long time.
The bristles on all three are nicely packed and the quality is still the same as the actual sized products. There wasn’t any scratching on the face, as it’s soft to the skin. The brushes are about the size of the palm of my hand. Some people may prefer to have longer handles but I didn’t mind. It comes in a handy transparent pouch which you can throw it into your bag for any time of the day. Travelling, backpacking, days and nights out, anywhere! Wherever you are going, this will not take up any space or weigh you down.
I wouldn’t pay £9.99 for them to be honest. It is expensive for what it is and is not a must have item. If you do find them cheaper, get them.
