Mr. Jamie Stevens Style Salt Spray: £10.00*
JUST FOR MEN?
This is one to add to my big hair routine now. I spray this when my hair is damp, like around 70-80% dry then let it dry naturally. May be add in the scrunch here and there whilst it dries to give it that little bit more texture. This is brilliant for thin, fine hair. It leaves a matt finish with the added volume and texture. With its light formula, it doesn't weigh my hair down and definitely doesn't dry the hair out, leave a crispy feeling or any residue. I've sprayed it on dry hair too, and love it for a quick texture refresh.
Before this came into my life, I would lightly and randomly tease the body of the hair then hairspray it to set it. Sometimes I over kill it with the hairspray and it starts weighing my hair down. This can be added to any hairstyles to make it complex hairstyles more manageable or to add volume to a simple ponytail. Spray it on braided hair in the evening then sleep on it and you'll get natural waves.
The nozzle produces a fine mist that won't drench your hair after one spray enabling you to have control over how much you need to use. Slick and professional packaging - that's all that needs to be said.
The one thing that makes this different to the other salt sprays out there is the active thickening complex, System-PPX. You can read further into this here. To quickly summarise, it has Pea Peptitide to help thicken the hair shaft and nourish the hair without leaving a crispy or stiff feel to the hair. This in combination with other ingredients, helps keep hair thicker, fuller, stronger for longer
It does have a scent that's a bit manly but it does fade. Just because this is aimed at the bros doesn't mean it's just for them. Girls, just get your hands on this.
