Off the Shoulder

fashion Off the Shoulder

BARDOT

Off the shoulder clothes are all the rage these days. I’ve always been a fan of them years ago, whether it’s one shoulder on show or both. Even over the winter period, one of my shoulders would make an appearance. Whenever I wear this style, I instantly feel more feminine and looks like I’ve put the effort into my appearance. I find it the easiest to style, easier than the standard t-shirts. Not sure why.

Style up or down, it’s an effortless day to night piece. It’s flattering on every shape and size. I’m broad and I love it. I’m still adding more to my collection. Forever shopping around.

Here are my picks:

Are you a fan of this?

I don't find that off the shoulder stuff suits me because of how broad my shoulders are they tend to fall off. x

I do like to flaunt my shoulders but I struggle to find the right shape of top – so many are really baggy and I need something more fitted to suit my shape.

Love off the shoulder but my issue is that my boobs are too big and would look horrendous in this sort of top!

My daughter wore an off the shoulder number on hols recently and I was rather jealous !

Off the shoulder tops don't really suit me, but they can be so pretty!

I love bardot tops, but I've got such tiny sloping shoulders they never stay in place. These are all so lovely though!!

I love the Bardot style but my main issue with them is I never know what bra to wear and I still haven't found a strapless bra that's any good.

I love it on others but I am not feeling very comfortable in this style myself 🙁

Off the shoulder tops are great aren't they – No-one ever complains about having fat shoulders! Seriously though, I'm not keen on the cut out shoulder bits but am loving the flouncy floppy off the shoulder tops. I miss BHS for strapless bras.

I've loved off-the-shoulder tops since bad Sandy rocked hers in Grease The Movie… damn, giving my age away now… 😉 x
