This is probably the first year I haven't dressed up or done anything special. I didn't have enough time to think of a good Halloween costume. There was also that thought of "how am I going to beat last year's look?" which I didn't have the answer for. There's always next year!

In the end, I had opted for a black to burgundy/plum ombre lip. Forgetting to purchase a black lipstick, a pencil eyeliner was all I had use to attempt it. Not a bad job for a first time using black on the lips. Trying to get the correct black to burgundy/plum ratio was a bit of a pain thanks to being a perfectionist but I got there in the end. Wish I did a slightly stronger cheek contour. Ah wells.

I'm more surprised that the lip had lasted all night but then again, I rarely drank as I didn't want to ruin what I would call a masterpiece in my opinion! I did acquire my friend's Wario hat towards the last few hours of the night. More like I grabbed it and kept it!

Did you dress up for Halloween?

  1. *O* Your makeup is so pretty! How is the elf eyeliner? I've heard lots of good things about ELF but unfortunately I don't think their products works for me. The dark makeup suits you ^_^

  9. Ombre lips is something I do not want to try. However you are rocking this ombre lips look. I have seen in your products that you have used, MAC prolongwear concealer and Urban Decay Make up Setting Spray, how good are they?
