DESIGN YOUR IDEAL PIECE
Have you ever saw something you liked in store but then there's that one or two pieces you wish you wasn't there? Or have you wanted to design your ideal bracelet but not sure where to start? Mink & Stone allows you to design your own piece with a many beads, crystals, stones etc to choose from. Let your imagination go wild as the combinations are endless! You can design your own piece from scratch or you can use existing ideas other customers has designed. You can also purchase what other customers has designed too. You have control over what you add.
The design process is easy. You can browse through the materials and just add them and you will see your design forming. You are able to choose the hardware, gold or silver and are also able to choose the length of the bracelet/necklace. The base price for the wire and clasp is £3. Each bead, crystal, stone etc has a price, ranging from 5p to £9. You will the price accumulate as you start adding.
Once you have designed, you can add it to your account and keep the item private, for your eyes only or to share it with the world so they can purchase it too. In the end, I have gone for a simple, minimalistic design with a pearl like bead. I have named it Pearl of Wisdom which you can purchase here. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect it to look like in real life but when they had tweeted the final outcome before shipping it to me, I was ecstatic! Better than I had imagined.
My design had arrived in a lovely velvet pouch and I had even worn it to my work summer party on Thursday. This will definitely match any outfit I put together. It's light weight and the quality is great. This would make a great gift, from friendship bracelets to bridesmaids, to a gift for a special someone. Just as long as you know what their tastebuds are like, you're all set!
Be creative. With some of the necklace sizes, you can create a head chain or a double wrap bracelet. Just let your imagination run wild. Designing jewellery will start to become an addiction and I highly recommend them. The whole process went smoothly.
