Changeable Heel & Platform?

28 April 2015

ENDLESS COMBINATION

It's quite interesting as to what you can find on the internet just from browsing. I had somehow come across Alexandra Alberta Chiolo and her idea of a changeable heel and platform. Customise it to how you like with a great variety of colours and materials.

A unique idea comes with a price. Once you've purchased your first whole shoe, you are able to purchase the heel and platform separately. At the moment, there are 2 heel height and 2 shoe styles to choose from. The price of the shoe, platform and heel depends on the material and style. There are limited edition heels too which are more pricier.

Here is a video of how you can change the two. Looks so easy right?

I quite like this myself. I hope there's more shoe styles as well as being able to choose the colour of the shoe itself as its very limited at the moment. I've had a play around with my ideal shoes on the website and I'm definitely feeling it! The rose gold look, I am in love with. You can play around with it here.

What are your thoughts on this?

  8. Ouch at the price, but I do hope also this starts a 'trend' of sorts and other brands come up with a similar concept that has friendlier price tags!

  16. interchangable heels?! very interesting concept! but i would think that the heels would be less stable, especially for fickle-minded ladies (like me) who can't stop switching the heels?
