Things I Like #17

The Kooples biker style shirt; French Connection trousers; Sandro t-shirt; Azature Diamond nail polish; YSL Black Opium eau de parfum; Joseph Joseph chopping board;

This years sales is quite disappointing. Nothing really wowed me or it must be due to being ill on Boxing Day then never was motivated to look at the sales properly once I’ve recovered. I did pick up a few things online though and will blog about them. Everything from this list is from Selfridges.

Is it weird that I want the YSL parfum just for the bottle? I have read that the base note is vanilla, yum but not sure what to think about the coffee. I need to smell this concoction first as I’m curious to see what the fuss is about.

I’ve been lusting the chopping board set for ages, ever since I saw it instore. Ever since moving in, I’ve mainly been purchasing items to decorate the flat, even the little things. There are a lot of homeware things I want but my flat is currently too small to fit everything in. So sad. I get more excited about homeware stuff rather than makeup and clothes. I’m guessing this is a normal thing?

What did you think of the sales? Did you get anything?

    Agree so much, the sales were a huge let down this year 🙁 In some stores near me though they started the sales the day before Christmas Eve! I managed to snap up a few good things. When I went back after New Year everything had gone.

    That is such a cute bottle, I don't blame you!

    Nope, I know someone who collects perfume bottles only, without the contents. I think it's a valid hobby/interest. 🙂

    I've had a smell of the YSL Black Opium and I love that. I always prefer women's fragrances to men's.

    I want to buy a lot of decoration and stationary thing for my new dorm as well. Decorations just make it feel more like home, more comfortable and stationary is so useful. All the best for your future purchases.

    We don't have boxing day here but since the year is starting I'm starting to buy things I really need and a few I really want. It was good that you were still able to get some stuff online even if the sales were a let down this year.
