DUO PLUS EXTRA

I'm going to have to take better photos for this but anyways. An upgraded version of the Effaclar Duo. It has everything the original has but with added bonuses. It says it can also reduce redness and scarring of spots as well. I've trialled this for a good 2-3 months.

The texture is slightly different, more gel like and more opaque. I only require a pea sized amount and it does get absorbed into the skin. I didn't find this as moisturising as the original version but it did give me the same results. I use this in place of moisturiser still. I did become spot free for a good few days and had enjoyed it very much. For better results, I have used this in conjunction with the Origins spot gel. I haven't noticed whether it helped reduce redness as I don't get redness often. I also don't suffer from spot scarring so I unfortunately cannot comment on that.

If I use a little bit more than what I need, my skin feels uncomfortable and can still feel it lying on my skin, not being absorbed thoroughly. I'm unsure if they would still sell the original version as I do prefer that a little more than this. However this would still be repurchase for the rest of my life as my skin relies on this and would most likely suffer from withdrawal symptoms if I ever stop or this gets discontinued for some strange reason. If you suffer from dry skin, you would definitely need to apply moisturiser afterwards.

Have you tried this product before?
