Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
11 December 2013
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette: £37.00*
Those who have seen my Instagram post last week will know I have received this palette. Literally made my day and of course, used it straight away. In every palette, you will receive samples of all 4 of the primer potion formulas, including the new anti-aging primer, with each sample lasting around a week. A great chance to test out the primers before purchasing. A double ended brush is included
This palettes theme is neutral pink. They're all new and never seen before. The shades goes from shimmery pinks to rose gold to satin mauve and plums. Here is a list of all of the shades:
Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin)From the list, you can see that there is a mix of finishes suiting every occasion. My favourite shades are Burnout, Limit, Nooner and Blackheart. I find Dust is a tad bit too glittery for me and the glitter particles aren't as fine and micro as I like it to be therefore hiding the true shade. With it being pinky rather than warm or cool, the shades feel more feminine and can see it flatter all skin tones. Like all Urban Decay eyeshadows, they're pigmented, soft, blendable, long lasting and great quality with a velvet touch. The brush that is included is great!
Dust (pale metallic pink shimmer w/iridescent micro-glitter)
Burnout (light pinky-peach satin)
Limit (light dusty rose matte)
Buzz (metallic rose shimmer w/silver micro-glitter)
Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal micro-sparkle)
Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte)
Liar (medium metallic mauve shimmer)
Factory (pinky-brown satin)
Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift)
Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin)
Blackheart (smoky black matte w/rosy red micro-sparkle)
To go with the pink theme, the packaging is of rose gold colour and will definitely stand out from the rest of the palettes you own. They have stuck to their sturdy, tin casing with the embossed "Naked 3" but rather than having a smooth case, they have a draped fabric, waves indentation.
This is by far my favourite palette out of the series as it is unique and difference from all of the palettes I own. I still haven't hit pan on the other two Naked palettes and I can definitely see myself reaching out for this more. Rather than the anticipated release date of 16th December, it is actually out today! I went shopping today and saw that it is available in Debenhams right now so go and get it before it is too late! Proof:
I don't live in a city so there is quite a bit of stock left and probably more in the back. Those who live in the city or near it, I can imagine it being quickly snatched up. You can order it online now (buying it online means that it includes the 10% off beauty promotion) or order it at the House of Fraser.
What do you think of this palette? Will you be purchasing it?
