A Quick Guide to Cheap Online Shopping

The economic times aren’t good yet there are many items you want to purchase. You want to save money yet that shopping addiction overtakes you and you can’t resist! Here is the guide to the top 5 websites to help you get those bargins and to save money. Beware, I am not liable for any loss of money, damage to your bank account or the development of bargaining on online shopping addiction.

EBAY

Who doesn’t love eBay? You can find almost (if you’re fussy like me) everything there from dupes to genuine to something new. Sometimes with cheap prices, there comes an extra price: shipping especially if it is from the far east where everything is found there. If you don’t mind the wait then you can purchase a lot for a small amount. Who doesn’t love a bargin? I actually love buying accessories on eBay where no where in the UK sells it and its an upcoming trend. Like previously, I purchased a variety of collar tips before they were out in the UK. It’s great how you can filter it to hide the products not related to what you’re looking for and sort buy price/time etc. Sell your unwanted items then use that money to buy more stuff off eBay. That’s what I end up doing.

EVERYTHING 5 POUNDS

If you haven’t heard of this website, the name of it just explains everything. Everything is £5, literally. They sell clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, lingerie and childrenswear. If you’re on a budget and Primark doesn’t do it for you then this is it. It has all the basic pieces you need. Even if the items are not your style, there is always one thing you’ll like. The delivery charges vary by weight but to be honest, it’s still cheap overall as compared to the high street. This is a popular website so don’t be surprised if the items you want are sold out of your size so get them quick. The great thing is they ship worldwide!

BIG WARDROBE

I remember this from a few years ago and how it has grown now. This is an alternative to eBay. You can buy, sell and swap clothes, cosmetics and accessories. It’s free to sign up and to list as many items but can only swap once a month, however there is an alternative where you pay £1.50 a month and you can swap and sell as many times a month as you like. The difference between this and eBay is there are no listing fees and the item is on the site until you remove or sell them. You can buy, sell, swap with not only within the same country but worldwide. You can make cash or swap offers, or a combination of both. This is a great way to get rid of any unwanted clothes new or hardly worn and to bring in new clothes into your wardrobe. Not only you can list womenswear, you can list mens and childrens.

ASOS MARKETPLACE

If you love vintage, you’ll love this. Not only there are individual sellers on this, there are boutiques. This is open to anyone and everyone. Similar to eBay and the Big Wardrobe. ASOS is a popular website amongst us and they have opened this. Signing up and listing is free however they take 9% commission. They have items where it can only be found here and no where else. That’s what’s unique about it. It’s not just vintage items, pre-owned items and handmade items are sold here. Again, it’s not just within the UK. You can find items from around the world.

FASHION VOUCHERS

9n9

This is heaven for everyone who shops online. They have the latest deals and vouchers available, ready for you to use and to save a bit of cash. You’re probably thinking “oh 10% is nothing” but in the long run, you actually save quite a bit if you shop often. So do have a check at the deals and vouchers they have before you click on the checkout button. They have a variety of categories to suit you. The have a variety of deals and vouchers from the usual high street stores to online only to the high end e.g. there currently 25% off voucher on Kurt Geiger items which I must resist right now. You can view the categories as well as to search for the retailers.

  13. Wow. These sites are amazing! Never heard of it before—except eBay, of course. However, we should always be careful when purchasing stuff online. Credit card thieves are out there, you know. Anyway, thanks for this incredibly helpful information. Pretty sure fashion aficionados and shopaholics are dying to know about these.

  19. This is a very interesting post, thanks for sharing with us. Shopping cheap is one of the best ways to save money since not everyone can shop for high end clothes. There are some other ways too to get cheap deals as well. More here – http://www.startgrants.com/how-to-get-free-groceries-for-low-income-families.php

Your blogs actually introduce new concepts to the world of technology. I personally recommend the students and researchers to refer your blogs to add something new to their information and knowledge.
