Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser

28 May 2013

Heard great things about this brand and couldn't wait to try this. First of all the packaging is very appealing. The plant, floral design relates to the products itself, free from all the no no ingredients like parabens, mineral oils, animal ingredients etc yet not organic. Just contains the good stuff. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The consistency is quite thick but spreads easily, thicker than my current moisturisers. A little goes a long way with this. It is absorbed into the skin quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. It leaves my skin hydrated all day without feeling tight but not as soft as I thought it would. It leaves it mattified and glowing but the oil control didn't last long. Lasted a good hour or two then the oil started to crawl back. It hasn't broken me out however I did notice that one spot became enlarged as time passed during the day after the first use. Not sure if it was from this 100%. I haven't really seen much benefit with this unfortunately. The scent is really sweet, too sweet for me. Makes me feel uneasy.

Good makeup base as it worked better in controlling oil. I would have to blot after four five hours which isn't bad to be honest. This would be good for teenage skin or moderate oily skin. For £7.99 and the little amount you use each time, it's inexpensive but is expensive if the product doesn't work. I'm half and half on this product. Just say, it is OK.

  1. This sounds perfect!!! I normally don't have a problem with oil, but this Spring I've noticed my skin is not helping my makeup stay on for long. I might pick this up next time I place a Boots order so I can give it a go! Thank you for sharing xx
