NUDE BABY PINK
I think I have found the perfect baby pink lipstick I was looking for. Had realised that I was looking for a nude baby pink rather than a baby pink. This had applied smoothly on my lips. Great formulation however it doesn't moisturise as it has stated. My lips get dry and chapped easily and this lipstick doesn't moisturise in any way, however it doesn't make it more dry. So it does protect them in a way. With dry and chapped lips, this lipstick will emphasise the dryness and will seep into the dry cracks. So do exfoliate and moisturise well before applying.
I do have pigmented lips myself, and this gives me a lovely pink shade that isn't too nude and isn't too bright. It has enough opacity to change my lip color. It's not 100% matte. I'd say around 90%. Some times lipgloss can be way too much for the day in my opinon, depends on the shine factor but a little bit is enough. Suits my skin tone very well and doesn't give me the ill, zombie look that many nudes do. It is long lasting and looks great with a smokey eye look.
The packaging is gorgeous! Adds a bit of oomph to the whole lipstick as well as the lipstick diamond, jewel shape carving. Makes it look more interesting than the traditional round shape. Doesn't look or feel cheap. Gives the brand its own individuality. I would repurchase this again.
