“Glumorous bringing glamour to lip balms with its sweet and sour plum scent and rich burgundy colour. We have also added plum kernel which is great for the lips.”
Bubble and Squeak Lip Balm in Glumorous
Review: I get chapped lips easily and I’ve tried using this for the past week. It didn’t really do much to help moisturise my lips, I re-apply often throughout the day with this however it wears off after I eat and or drink. Lips are still dry and flakey.
It is a pretty oily product so very little product is enough for your lips. The texture is soft so you won’t need to dig into it to get the product out. A light swipe is enough for application which means that this will last you a while. Put too much on and you can taste the product which will make you want to wipe the product off. It does have a wee little tint of colour but it isn’t noticeable. Its more on the clear side. It gives a glossy finish which may not suit to everyone’s taste.
The scent is slightly overpowering. It does smell like plum, more like the artificial smell which isn’t too bad. It has a sweet smell. The more I smell it, the more it reminds me of sweets in general. I quite like the smell. Once applied to the lips, you can still smell it for a while. Again, the smell may not be to everyone’s taste especially if you dislike the sweet scent.
The packing still is cheap, however you get a good amount of product. Some people may not like this packaging because you have to use your fingers which people may find it unhygienic. For £4.50, I think its a bit pricey for a lip balm as you can get cheaper lip balms that works better. This product isn’t too bad. I think I’ll use this over lipstick as a lipgloss rather than a lip balm.
You can get a free bath bomb or lip balm when they spend over £35 and get free delivery when you spend over £25.
