Review: Thought this would be the best time to review this BB cream as I’m starting to break out at the moment. Bought it of eBay and paid around £9 for this. It is pretty expensive for 15ml of the product. The first thing I had noticed straight away is that it is only available in one shade only. Once this is applied onto the skin, it’ll adapt to the user’s skin tone by oxidising however it will still be light for people who are greater than NC25/NC30. It has a grey undertone which you can’t really see on the swatch. There is a pleasant floral smell and isn’t off putting.

The coverage is about light to medium. It covers my pores and reduces redness on my cheeks, however doesn’t cover my spots. Adds a very light coverage to my under eye circles so I will still need to use a concealer. It accentuates the dry skin especially around my nose. Quite disappointing to be honest. So much hype about and it had let me down. Is it possible for a thick consistency to be a sight runny application? Applies nicely and can be blended into the skin easily and it becomes sheer, dewy until it dries matte. I can feel it moisturising my skin and also feel the BB cream on my skin too. Oil control is also ok. After 3 hours, I start to become oily. Because I have oily skin, it doesn’t become long lasting. At the end of the day when I remove it, only half of what I’ve applied is left on. Melts away during the day.

Love the packing. Very hygienic as it pumps out the product and you can control how much it pumps, oh and did I mention that it is hot pink?! To be honest, I don’t think I’ll purchase this again until my skin is healed up and will only need a light/medium coverage. I might use this as a base for foundation.

Am I the only one who is disappointed with this?

Edit: Happy Chinese New Year Everyone! 🙂

You're not the only one. lolz. I also purchased but I'm pretty dark so it didn't go very good ~_~. It's sad that it only has one shade T_T. I'm going to keep trying some other bbcreams. Hope your skin gets better! ^_^

I was actually thinking of getting this but I'm so glad I didn't! I have pretty bad dark circles and the foundation that I'm currently using doesn't really hide my dark circles well. And I'm disappointed that this doesn't give perfect coverage since I was looking forward to buying this! 🙁

Aww, sad to hear this doesn't do much. 🙁 I'm a big fan of thick coverage like Missha Perfect Cover. Too bad this is so thin. 🙁

Mee to! It's so greyish on my skin, and I really hate the poor lasting power. It only stay for 2,5 hours on my skin >.<

I have the original skin 79 (the bigger one), and the consistency is so thick, and the colour is too greyish on my skin.. I recommend the Laneige BB cream, which I am using now for few years and love it! thin consistency, great coverage, last all day (!). At first the colour is too light for my skin, but after a few hours it feels like my own skin! ^^

Thank you for this review. I was thinking about purchasing it because of the hype. You've hit most of the points that I was worried about like the the gray undertones and making my dry skin more prominent.

Thanks for the review! is it the same as the normal 40g pump bottle? I don't really use the pink one because it's too grey for my skin – oxidizes so much that I have to put foundation over it (usually just apply a powder to set)~ but the gold one works better for me! So yeah, pink is a disappointment too ><
